Saturday, May 12 from 10 am to 5 pm: Angels Camp Street Fair & Manzanita Arts Spring to Lifemeet gallery artists in plein aire and live demonstrations, fly-tying presentation, knitted crafts and jewelry, and more.  Artsy gifts for Mom!                                    

Saturday, May 12 from 2 to 4 pm: Book signing with Mary Stewart Anthony, celebrating the public release of her new book of poems, Golden Chrysalis: Wings for the Soul    

 May 17-20: Calaveras County Jumping Frog Fair & Jubilee. Angels Camp’s classic family fun event. Manzanita Writers Press has an author booth. Come visit and chat with local writers.     

Friday, May 18 from 6 to 9:30 pm: “Sip ’N Paint with Artist Mary Sexton.” $45 cost covers all painting materials and complimentary wine. Sunday, May 27 from 4 to 6 pm: Mother Lode Storytellers Guild  “Story Swap” Free and open to the public.                          Great family fun and all ages welcome. Learn storytelling techniques and try out your own tales on the crowd.  Last Sunday, Every other month at MAE, 1211 S. Main St. Angels Camp 95222.

Sunday, Thursday, June 3-10: Bill Brauner, Fly Fishing Fly-Tying Class—a 3-part workshop: Part I: Sunday, June 3, 2-3:30 pm, Part 2: Thursday, June 7,  6:30-8 pm; Part 3: Sunday, June 10, 2-3:30 pm.  Adults $40 for the series; Children 12-17 $30.
